These Terms of Use govern your use of Cleo, operated by NANOVERSE TECH LTD. By using Cleo, you agree to these terms and the Cleo Privacy Policy.
Eligibility and caregiver responsibility
You must be legally able to enter into these terms. Cleo is designed for adult parents and caregivers. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter, the people you invite to family-sharing features and the security of your device and account.
Not medical advice
Cleo is an organizational and informational tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, monitoring or treatment. AI responses, reminders, charts and summaries may be incomplete or inaccurate. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional and contact local emergency services in an emergency.
Accounts and Apple services
Some features may use Sign in with Apple, HealthKit, CloudKit, notifications, widgets or related Apple services. Your use of those services is also subject to Apple’s terms. You must not access another person’s information without authorization.
AI features
AI-generated responses are provided for general informational assistance. You must independently review them before relying on them. Do not submit unlawful, abusive or unnecessary sensitive information. We may limit or suspend AI features to protect users, providers or the service.
Subscriptions and purchases
Paid features, if offered, are billed through the App Store. Prices, billing periods and trial terms are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled through your Apple account settings. Refunds are handled under Apple’s policies and applicable law.
Cleo Premium plans
Cleo currently offers the following auto-renewable subscription plans:
- Cleo Premium Weekly — 1 week
- Cleo Premium Monthly — 1 month
- Cleo Premium Annual — 1 year
Some plans may include a free trial. Current prices are always shown in the App Store and on the in-app purchase screen before you confirm a purchase.
Auto-renewal and cancellation
Each subscription renews automatically for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscriptions at any time in your Apple account settings at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
Acceptable use
You may use Cleo only for lawful personal or family purposes. You must not reverse engineer, disrupt, probe, automate abuse of, resell or misuse the app; upload malicious material; violate privacy or intellectual-property rights; or use Cleo to make decisions that require professional medical judgment.
Intellectual property
Cleo, including its software, design, branding and original content, belongs to NanoVerse Tech or its licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the app in accordance with these terms.
Availability and changes
We may improve, change, suspend or discontinue features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability, synchronization, notifications, AI output or compatibility with every device.
Disclaimer and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cleo is provided “as is” and “as available”. We exclude implied warranties where legally permitted. NanoVerse Tech is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of data, missed reminders or reliance on AI or health-related information. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Termination and deletion
You may stop using Cleo and use the in-app deletion controls at any time. We may restrict access for material misuse or legal/security reasons. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
Apple terms
For the iOS version, Apple is not responsible for Cleo or its support. Use is also subject to Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement where applicable: Apple Standard EULA.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear disputes.
